Emerald Trails is an Irish tour company, exploring Ireland with Irish guides. We offer some core tours but are also committed to creating tours for and with you.

We are delighted to be once again walking the emerald trails of beautiful Ireland! We are happy to say (but sorry to disappoint you) that our tours in 2022 are already booked out. Please contact us with any queries or to book places on a tour in 2023.

Our Western Isles tour

We have over twenty-five years’ experience in the walking Tour Business: we have created and guided award-winning tours which embrace cultural activities, archaeology, history, natural history, folklore, stunning scenery, traditional music, poetry, art, crafts and cookery, using local, organic food from artisan producers. We dine and stay in uniquely situated and designed accommodation, individual and artistic – none of your run-of-the-mill hotels for Emerald Trails guests! – like the impeccably restored lighthouse and boat house, among others.

Our West (County) Cork tour

We walk in beautiful places but the wonderfully broad spectrum of Irish culture is what we like to focus on. Our groups are small and personal with, ideally, six guests, so we can get up close and personal on our walks and visits.
